Home Owners
Energy Efficient Homes
Whether you are compiling a Home
Information Pack in order to market your property, looking for ways in which
you can reduce your household running costs, or striving to make your home
as energy efficient (or 'green') as possible, Domestic Energy Assessment Ltd
can meet your needs.
As qualified and accredited Energy Assessors we are trained to assess the
structure of your property in terms of how well it retains heat energy and
the methods used to provide heat and light to the home. Depending on the
buildings' age and style it is quite possible that we will be able to
recommend measures that, through lower utility bills, will pay for
themselves within a year of installation, with the additional bonus of
significantly reducing your household production of harmful carbon dioxide
(or greenhouse) gases.
Boost Your Energy Rating
If you'd like to ensure that your home
is marketed with the best possible energy rating then we can carry out two
energy surveys for you, allowing you to make any necessary improvements
before the final visit.
After the first inspection we will provide you with your Energy Performance
Certificate (EPC) which will include specific measures that will improve
your property's rating. You can then follow whichever of the report's
recommendations you wish, after which we will return to carry out a new
survey and issue a revised EPC for inclusion in your Home Information Pack.
Whatever the cost of your first EPC (which will depend upon the size and
location of your house) we will provide the second certificate at half the
original price.
Risk Free
If after receiving your first EPC,
you decide that you don't want to make any improvements then we will cancel
the second inspection at no cost and use the original in your HIP.
